Orange Armenia summed up the results of a year’s work in the market

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Orange Armenia mobile connection operator marks one year anniversary of its presence in the Armenian market today.

Mediamax reports that Company CEO Bruno Duthoit summed up the results of the year at a news conference in Yerevan today.

According to him, after one year of activity in the Armenian market, the number of voice service subscribers makes 300 thousands, and internet subscribers – 45 thousands. Broadband connection 3G+ covers 93% of the country’s population and is the widest in Armenia, Bruno Duthoit stated.

“In a year of activity, Orange Armenia offered a wide range of services both to subscribers and to business entities. The company authored numerous innovations in the country, in particular, the unprecedented transmission speed of 14.4Mbps, HD voice of high definition.  We made a revolution also in the market of smartphones by introducing new iPhone and BlackBerry in the market”, Company head stated.

The number of customer service and sales offices makes 57 all over the republic, and by the end of 2010 the company plans to make the number reach 80.

Bruno Duthoit informed that next year the company will remain adherent to its strategy to be innovative and will continue offering its customers also a network of next generation – 4G.

Orange Armenia CEO stated that in 2011, the company will keep to a “caring policy”.
