Beeline expanded 3G network in Armenian regions

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Beeline expanded its 3G network in the regions of Armenia.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of “ArmenTel” that 3G network is launched in Jermuk and Tsakhkadzor towns, dozens of new 3G stations are put to operation in Abovyan, Vanadzor, Gyumri and Etchmiadzin towns.

““ArmenTel” consistently carries out works on increasing the capacity and geography of 3G network coverage in Armenia. In August, 2010, “ArmenTel” tripled the capacity of the network in Yerevan. All over the country, our 3G network covers a territory with the total population of over 1 900 000 people”, General Director of “ArmenTel” Igor Klimko stated.

“ArmenTel” is the first operator, which introduced 3G on the territory of Armenia: in June, 2008 – to test-commercial operation and in September, 2008 – to commercial operation.
