Armenian Ombudsman’s Office requests to close down the fake webpage on Facebook

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Office of Armenian Human Rights Defender addressed Facebook Administration with the request to close down “Human Rights of the Republic of Armenia” webpage, created by unknown people.

“We have trustworthy information that many of over 700 registered users have become members of this group, mistakenly assuming that it belongs to the Office of the Armenian Ombudsman”, the statement reads.

The address notes that this group mainly deals with sending out various advertisement offers on purchase of particular products.

“We express our concern and officially request to close this webpage down”, the address of the Office of Armenian Ombudsman reads.
