Number of IDram system registered users increased by over 5 500 subscribers since the beginning of the year

Yerevan/Mediamax/. As of October 1, 31 500 registered subscribers have been using services of IDram internet payment system.

Spokeswoman of “IDram” LLC Anna Grigoryan informed Mediamax that since the beginning of the year the number of IDram system users increased by over 5500 subscribers, which is conditioned by broadening of the range of offered services, as well as implementation of customer identification mechanism, and the fact contributes to the growth of trust towards electronic payments.

Anna Grigoryan explained that the user identification mechanism, implemented in accordance with international standards and meeting requirements of the local legislation, implies compulsory identification of the customer’s personality with their official documents.

In the course of the recent year, the system users received the chance to repay credits and pay taxes and duties online. Due to the license of the Central Bank of Armenia for realizing money transfers, which was received in the beginning of the year, in the nearest future the customers will be able to realize transfers by two systems of international money transfers: Coinstar and BLIZKO.

From the beginning of the year, the turnover of Idram internet payment system increased by 20%, as compared to the analogous period of last year. The majority of payments (about 70%) fall on the share of utility service and mobile connection payments.

Recently the company concluded partnership agreements with two more banks: “Unibank” and “Armeconombank”, within the framework of which the users of the system can replenish and cash their electronic units (ID). “Armbusinessbank” and “Ardshininvestbank” are also partners of “Idram”.

Anna Grigoryan informed that today the company carries out preparatory works on receiving permission to issue and maintain electronic money.
