Armenian government announced implementation of a system of e-licensing of goods and services

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Government of Armenia announced today implementation of a system of e-licensing of goods and services.

Head of Armenian government’s Administration David Sargsyan stated at a news conference in Yerevan today that from now on anyone can leave an application to the corresponding Ministry for licensing their activity at www.e-gov.am/licenses.

According to him, during registration, the applicant will receive a 12-digit password for using the system and will be able to track the process of license provision. David Sargsyan stated that the electronic system of licensing significantly reduces corruption risks and bureaucracy.

Head of the government Administration stated that electronic system of licensing also rules out the possibility of losing the corresponding documentation, the responding letter, etc.

Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Davtyan reminded that at the latest session, the government approved the draft law on simplifying the order of goods and services licensing, as well as reducing types of activities, subject to licensing, by 40%.
            
According to him, from existing 169 types of licenses, they suggest leaving only 96, as well as grouping the analogous types of activity to simplify licensing procedures.

Head of the government Administration David Sargsyan stated that at present they are completing works over technical issues of the portal for electronic system of state payment redemption. According to him, in the nearest future the government will provide citizens with the chance to make payments with the use of bank cards via internet.
