“Orange” launched new “High Upload” service

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Orange Armenia” operator announced the launch of HSUPA technology and “High Upload” service, which will allow uploading files at the speed of 2Mb/sec.

“Orange is the first mobile operator implementing HSUPA technologies in Armenia and in the South Caucasus”, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the company.

General Director of “Orange Armenia” Bruno Duthoit noted that the main upgrading works of the network are finalized, as a result of which they observe a much higher usage and quality. He also added that the company continues extending the coverage and the capacities, improving the quality and enriching the network with new technologies.

“With implementation of HSUPA technologies, Armenia is making a step forward and confirms itself as a regional leader in innovation”, Bruno Duthoit stated.

The High Upload option can be activated anytime during the month, and will be active until the last day of the given month. Monthly activation of the High Upload option costs 2,000 AMD, but the first activation is free of charge.
