Yerevan /Mediamax/. “VivaCell-MTS” subscriber base increased by 2.8% (or for 60 thousands) in 2009, making 2.07mln people by the end of December, 2009.
Mediamax reports referring the press service of “MTS” OJSC that half of the subscriber base growth in Armenia was registered in December, when the growth of subscribers’ number made 1.3%, as compared to November, 2009, or 30 thousand people.
The consolidated number of “MTS” OJSC subscribers made 97.81mln users as of December 31, 2009, having increased for 6.48mln or by 7.1%, as compared to 2008.
