IT Development Assistance Council in Armenia discussed course of preparations for "ArmTech 2009" conference in the USA

Yerevan /Mediamax/.  The course of preparations for "ArmTech 2009" conference in the USA from November 5 to 8 was discussed at the session of IT Development Assistance Council in Armenia under the direction of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan on Wednesday.

 As Mediamax was informed by the press service government of Armenia, in the course of the session Armenian IT companies were offered to practically participate in the operations of Armenian representative office in Silicon Valley. 

With the purpose to support the beginner IT companies "Concept of Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation" was established, which was developed by a specially invited consultant. 

The head of strategic workgroup Mr. A. Kuchukyan presented the implementation course of the priority programs, in particular, single terms of forming e-society system and e-government, as well as operations to assist computer skills development in the sphere of education. He said that in particular, "Training 1" program is notable, which is in experimental stage. Possibilities were also discussed to involve private sector and educational institutions in the next stage of the program implementation.
