“VivaCell-MTS” and Armenian Red Cross will cooperate in fighting AIDS

Yerevan /Mediamax/. “VivaCell-MTS” mobile connection operator and Armenian Red Cross signed a cooperation memorandum in Yerevan today.

The first step in cooperation will be fighting AIDS. Mediamax reports that the Chairman of Armenian Red Cross Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan noted that “for already over 10 years this trouble concerns Armenia as well, and within the framework of cooperation, we intend to do everything possible to withstand it”.

General Manager of “VivaCell-MTS” Ralph Yirikian in his turn stated that “if we are not informed and cautious, in a few decades AIDS may become one of genocide types”. He urged citizens to regularly undergo blood tests for HIV/AIDS.
