DigiTec Business and Microsoft Innovations Forums launched in Yerevan

Yerevan /Mediamax/. DigiTec Business and Microsoft Innovations Forums launched in Yerevan today.

As the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahe Danielyan stated, the exhibition is oriented mainly to the business society. He highly assessed the Innovations Forum of Microsoft, stressing that the Armenian government attaches great importance to innovations.

According to Igor Klimko, the General Director of “ArmenTel” CJSC, which is the general sponsor of the exhibition, DigiTec Business will help potential partners in the sphere of IT to establish contacts.

Speaking at the launch of DigiTec Business, Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsian stated that IT development may assist Armenian companies in overcoming the consequences of the economic crisis. He noted that IT sphere may offer solutions, which will increase efficiency and competitiveness.

The Prime Minister noted that the Armenian government is a customer of IT companies and is interested in improving the quality and the number of services.

About 30 companies participate in the events.
