Yerevan /Mediamax/. By the end of the year, Orange Armenia will have invested 80mln euro in Armenia and will establish the total of 400 workplaces.
As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Ministry of Transport today, Orange Vice President in charge of Europe Olaf Swantee said this today ay his meeting with the Minister of Transport of Armenia Gurgen Sargsian.
The Minister noted that Orange’s entry to Armenia will allow liberalizing the telecommunication market even more.
Gurgen Sargsian noted that the Ministry of Transport and Communication does everything within the framework of its authority to secure normal activity of Orange Armenia. In particular, he noted, there is agreement on realizing meetings with the General Director of Orange Armenia Bruno Duthoit each month, during which they discuss the realized works and the existing issues.
“I hope that such a form of direct communication assists effective solution of the tasks set, and since the society is impatiently waiting for the start of the company’s work, I believe, it is necessary to work even more publicly”, Minister of Transport and Communication of Armenia stated.
Olaf Swantee stated that Orange wants to become the leading, innovative and the most favorite operator in Armenia. He assured that by the end of the year Orange Armenia will start providing mobile connection and internet access services.
