On December 2, BANA Angels held the annual Angel Conference event․
The 6th conference, aimed at promoting angel investments in Armenia, was organized in collaboration with the European Angel Investor Network (EBAN). The distinguished guests at the conference included Janne Jormalainen, President of the European Angel Investor Network (EBAN), and Anna-Kaarina Lipsanen, former Vice President of the Finnish Business Angel Network (FiBAN) and CEO of ADA Drive.
In the first part of the event, Janne Jormalainen and Anna-Kaarina Lipsanen delivered keynote speeches. Jormalainen shared insights into his journey in angel investment and entrepreneurship, emphasizing the importance of a well-thought-out exit strategy, illustrated through examples from his portfolio companies Loupedeck and Whiteboard.fi.
In her address, Anna-Kaarina Lipsanen outlined the pivotal stages in the establishment and growth of the Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) and highlighted the successes of her own investment portfolio.
In the second part of the event, a panel discussion titled "Creating Value Together" was held, in which the President of the European Angel Investor Network (EBAN) Janne Jormalainen, the President of the INVESTORO organization Vitaly Polekhin and the Co-founder and CEO of Prelaunch.com and The Crowdfunding Formula Narek Vardanyan participated as contributors. The panel discussion was moderated by Karen Vardanyan, the General Partner of Formula VC.
The conference was held with the support of Formula VC venture fund and the EU4Business “Innovative Tourism and Technology Development for Armenia” project (ITTD) implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ).
