On March 9 Rostelecom announced the launch of a new round of “Internet alphabet” program.
The program provides computer literacy courses for middle-aged (50+) and elderly people. It is designed specifically for them and it covers topics from devices to online resources.
“Internet alphabet” is implemented in Armenia at the initiative of Rostelecom.
“For the 5th year we hold “Internet alphabet”. The results of each round and active participation of the local people demonstrate that the program is in demand. I am happy to see that “Internet alphabet” bridges generations and both sides exchange as much knowledge and experience as possible,” said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.
The courses are held for 4 weeks. In the end, the participants and volunteer instructors will receive certificates.
“Internet alphabet” is implemented in Armenia since 2015. So far, around 300 people from Yerevan and marzes acquired computer knowledge thanks to the program.
