Armenia Startup Academy graduates: Expper Technologies

In this series Itel.am presents the third batch of Armenia Startup Academy graduates.

Expper Technologies creates robots for corporate businesses, intended for providing customer service.

The startup’s Robin robot will help businesses optimize expenses without involvement of human resources, ensuring 24/7 customer service.

Expper Technologies was founded by Karen Khachikyan (CEO) and Hayk Khorasanjyan (CTO). The team involves 5 more specialists.

In an interview to Itel.am, Karen Khachikyan noted that the available robots in the market are very expensive, difficult to use and integrate with demands of various businesses. Thus, current solutions aren’t applicable to a number of companies.

“Today the market offering similar robots is advancing. It will make USD 19 billion in 2020 with approximately 19% annual growth rate. We target main operators of services (banks, hotels, trade centers and so on). We have already started sale of Robin in Armenia,” Karen Khachikyan noted.

He said that the participation in the Armenia Startup Academy acceleration program provided the team with knowledge and an opportunity to develop their business ideas.

The startup plans entering the Armenian market this year to expand the business and reach the American market in the future.
