Armenia Startup Academy held the third Demo Day of graduating startups at the American University of Armenia on January 19.
During the event, the founders of 12 startups introduced themselves and their products, shared what they learned at the Academy and what plans they made for the future.
The participating startups were:
IMPEL-H1 Heart Monitoring System - a set of algorithms which improves the accuracy of heartbeat detection for up to 99.9%.
Illuria security - cyber deception automation and threat intelligence technology, which reduces risks by detecting and tracking malicious activities.
Risksensor - an all-in-one financial risk management toolset, which utilizes AI and big data technologies for retail traders earning speculative income.
Robin by Expper Technologies - a business assistant robot powered by ML allowing to rapidly analyze and support real-time conversations with the customers.
EasyDMARC - reporting and alerting service to make the sent email trusted and maximize the security of domain and emails.
AnteoHealth - a digital health platform designed to help healthcare practitioners create and promote targeted behavior change and treatment programs through technology.
Puzl - a robot-ready intelligence for retail robots automating product sorting.
Petto - an AI assistant that creates a connection between the human and house plant by allowing the plants to send messages and notifications to the plant owner via a mobile app.
Altered Silicon - Supercomputing meets cryptomining. The startup offers high-performance Computing for rental and mines when HW accelerators are idle thanks to the unique mining IPs developed in house, as a result expensive HW accelerators are generating revenue 24/7.
DoHirus - a platform that allows people to post short duration jobs/tasks at a price and date and let others take the task.
CryptoNDX - a platform that provides comprehensive information about blockchain & crypto exchanges.
Armenia Startup Academy is a packed pre-acceleration programme that enables startups to develop their product over 12 weeks.
The third cycle of the 12-week pre-acceleration programme was launched back on October 1, 2018. The programme has involved 52 startups and 121 entrepreneurs, who attended around 400 meetings and over 100 workshops and were coached by mentors from Armenia and abroad.
The Armenia Startup Academy is a Catalyst Foundation project implemented in the framework of EU4Business Support to SME Development (EU-SMEDA) Project, which is co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ’s Private Sector Development in South Caucasus Program. EU-SMEDA is part of the EU4Business and EU4Innovation initiatives of the European Union.
