VEON Chief Executive Office Jean-Yves Charlier has resigned.
The company has already posted the corresponding announcement.
Chairman of the VEON Supervisory Board Ursula Burns will serve as Chief Chairman, taking on Jean-Yves Charlier’s responsibilities immediately.

Charlier was appointed CEO in 2015.
In November 2017, Charlier and Ursula Burns took part in VEON’s global leadership meeting in Yerevan.
