ArmenTel disseminated a comment on the statement from State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of Armenia.
“State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of Armenia initiated an administrative proceeding by its decision of 16.05.2016, based on the application-complaint from Trans-Spher. The administrative proceeding, initiated by the Commission, was terminated by decision No.47 of 25.07.2016, taking into consideration the fact that ArmenTel registered no breach of law on Protection of Economic Competition of Armenian Constitution. Consequently, the decision by the Commission on warning the company was baseless and was appealed at the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia.”
Regarding Trans-Spher, an application was presented to Procurement Support Center against the latter, based on the claim from the company, for including the company in the list of entities without a right to participate in competitions. The application was based on the wrong data introduced to the competition by Trans-Spher, which is a breach of competition rules. Thus, there were no restrictions by ArmenTel, as ArmenTel operates in a completely different service market.
It is worth mentioning, that we are not the only customer from that point; Basic College is also Trans-Spher’s customer,” ArmenTel comment reads.
