StartupGardener consulting company supports Armenian startups to register in the U.S. as a company thus helping them attract American investors’ attention.
The company also helps Armenian startups to draft business plans, financial models and pitch decks.
The company set up in the U.S. in 2015 is co-founded by Mikayel Khachatryan, Sergey Ghazaryan and Mher Petrosyan.
Talking to Itel.am, Mikayel Khachatryan noted that it’s essential for the startup team to be able to present its business to the potential investors as impressively and effectively as possible. Besides, the country of legal registration of the startup is also critical while making investments in it.

“It’s a good opportunity for Armenian startups to grab foreign investors’ attention. We also provide services of opening bank accounts in the U.S. and accounting. For instance, running an American company with initial investment for a year in the U.S. is equal to registering and running it in Armenia. We exempt the startup of all the daily problems which could digress the latter from the very development of the product”, said Mikayel Khachatryan.
He has stressed that through the American bank account and card, their customers will be able to cash the sums on PayPal which is especially urgent for IT outsourcing companies”.
In his turn, Sergey Ghazaryan has said that they started turning to their friends studying in the U.S. with 2 questions- to help register a company in the U.S. and provide consultancy for business consulting and pitching.

According to the co-founders of the company, their target market is not only Armenia but other CIS states.
“The thing is that in this region, startups are technically efficient, but they are poor at business relations”, explained Sergey Ghazaryan.
StartupGardener co-founders have said that as of now, their proposals are in the self-cost as the goal is to develop a startup network in Armenia to further cooperate with them.
