Rostelecom presents OTT service in the Armenian market

Rostelecom presented new TV OTT service and the joint action in Vega partner company hall.

“Rostelecom technological innovation, ОТТ (Over the top) TV gives the opportunity to enjoy the TV service provided by the company, having only 2.5 Mb/ s Internet access and , most importantly, in places where Rostelecom is not available or where other Internet services are being used”, the press release reads.

OTT service enables subscribers to use the functions that are available in Rostelecom IPTV services:

- Views of modern and fascinating TV channels
- Views of up to 5-day- old programs
- Multiscreen on up to 5 devices (smartphone, tablet)
-Views of Cinematheque and film packages
- TV recording
- Other options

Rostelecom also informs that those who will buy electronics for 149 000 and more will get a free SmartBox device with 6 months subscribership to OTT service of Rostelecom. The fee would be paid by Vega. If the buyers wish to continue using the service after the 6th month, they will need to top up.
