Orange Armenia awards Open Game Championship winners

Moscow Cinema hosted the 5th Open Game Championship of Computer and Mobile Games on October 24.

Drift Rivals of Davit Mkrtchyan won in the Best 3D Game and Space game of team Marimba won in the Best Technological Solution categories.

Digital Pomegranate team, with its PlayLand Armenia project, won in 2 categories at the same time: the Best 2D Game and the Best Design.

PlayLand Armenia is the first online playground for Armenian children around the world. The application is a virtual world where children can play, learn and communicate with each other.

Vanik Sargsyan from Aygek won in the Best Educational Game category with his Millionaire project.

Versus game of Atom team won a special prize as well as People’s Choice award.

The winners of the tournament received financial awards and Orange Armenia had a surprise for 3 contestants: an opportunity to have a professional training in the company and get involved in the team’s work.

Open Game Championship is organized for the 5th time in a row by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises and Orange Armenia. This year Huawei has also joined the initiative as a general sponsor.
