#createTogether. Armenian techno community is gathered in Yerevan

CreateTogether technological event will be held in Yerevan on October 5,6 bringing innovators, businessman and representatives of techno life together.

Throughout yesterday, urgent issues related to startups such as –how to solve local problems and create global companies, what the current eco-system is like and how to find investors were being discussed in Tumo Center for Creative Technologies.

Itel.am talked to the manager of #create Together, American-Armenian businessman and investor Al Eisaianat the end of the day.

“In terms of quality #createTogether was very productive on the first day. However, I was expecting more participants. Around 70 people were present. The reason might have been that it was Monday- a working day. I should mention that some specialists from Silicon Valley arrived in Armenia with us. Around 3-4 meetings have been held between them and Armenian startups”, he informed.

Al Eisaianalso emphasized that after his last visit to Armenia, there has been a lot of achievements in Armenian IT sphere. He mentioned that the connection between Armenia and the Silicon Valley is becoming stronger and stronger.

Arloopa, Picsart, ServiceTitan, Shadowmatic have reached international success over this time. This success stories contribute to the growing number and quality of startups. Consolidation and guidance is needed to develop the sphere. A lot can be achieved by helping each other, learning from one another and working together”, concluded Al Eisaian.

Hackathon started today after midnight that will last till 4:00 PM. It will be concluded with a competition of products and services.
