11th DigiTec to host 170 companies

The number of companies participating in the 11th DigiTec Expo has grown from 130 to 170; the Expo is expected to host over 40 thousand people.

DigiTec 2015 platinum sponsor is Ucom, and the event is organized by Union of IT Enterprises (UITE).

“This year, Ucom will again be represented in a unique pavilion, with new surprises and innovative offers. Without disclosing too much, I want to say that we will present IPTV solutions as well as 4G/LTE this year. Our company is now in a new development stage. We will come up with new and attractive offers for our subscribers very soon”, said Ucom Director Hayk Yesayan.

UITE Director Karen Vardanyan has noted that besides companies which made success on the local and international markets, organizations from the Expo will host companies from the U.S., China, Taiwan, Russia, Sweden, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia and Iran (Ericsson, Huawei, Keysight Technologies, Calix etc).

Karen Vardanyan has informed that the expo will host a few hundreds of children engaged in robotics and game development from marzes.

Ericsson Business Development Director for North Europe and Central Asia Kirill Morozov has noted that the Expo is a unique platform which allows discussing future developments of digital infrastructures and the ways needed for development of modern technologies.

Within DigiTec 2015, famous grandmasters and a chess computer software developed by an Armenian programmer as well as DigiLife seminars, game hackathon, RoboFest and other events will be held.
