Rostelecom presents Smart TV in Armenia

Rostelecom has today presented to Armenian subscribers Smart TV based on new technologies.

The company has noted that from now on, even the residents of the remote settlements of the republic will be able to make the TV Smart and enjoy the latter’s benefits.

It’s the first time that Rostelecom has been presenting Smart Box device in Armenia. It is based on Android system and use of modern apps allowing to integrate new apps.

“Smart options allow each subscriber to continue their viewing through other devices- phone, tablet, get YouTube access, watch videos, connect via Skype directly from the screen and use a number of helpful functions”, the press release notes.

“On behalf of Rostelecom, let me congratulate all the Armenian consumers. From now on, a brand new device will enter the market which in its turn will form a new TV viewing culture. While forming the Smart TV we have taken into account our subscribers’ and all the Armenian consumers’ needs and demands. I am sure each of the family member will find an interesting app in the Smart functions. In near future, we are going to replenish the apps forming an App Store and cooperate with high-profile Armenian programmers and companies”, said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.
