Orange partners with the Fonds Arménien de France for its Phonethon charity appeal

Already for the fifteenth year running, Orange partners with the Fonds Arménien de France for its Phonethon charity appeal.

In France, the volunteers of the Fonds Arménien de France have as usual benefitted from the know-how of Orange, as it has once again made its telecommunication and IT platforms available for them, in particular in Orange call centers in Cachan, Lyon, Marseille and Toulouse.

From the 19th to 23rd of November, 750 volunteers of the Fonds Arménien de France made calls to more than 60 000 families and organizations, which resulted in a total of 1 370 000 EUR pledged, out of which 1 240 000 EUR were registered.

Collected donations will benefit thousands of Armenian families, serving to fund agricultural development projects in Armenia, construction of Vardenis-Martuni highway, development of community centers in Karabakh and others.

As in previous years this year also Orange Armenia provides customers with the possibility to participate to the Telethon and make donations, by sending an SMS to 7733 number or by calling 090008000. With 1 SMS or 1 call Orange customers donated 500 AMD.
