VivaCell-MTS again is the General Sponsor of Golden Apricot International Film Festival

The festive opening ceremony of the Golden Apricot 11th Yerevan International Film Festival took place at the State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet after Aleksandr Spendiaryan. For already 9 years VivaCell-MTS is the General Sponsor of the festival.

This year the festival is programmed to the honor and memory of Sergei Parajanov and is dedicated to his 90th anniversary, inspired by the works of the great artist. In the frames of the festival opening ceremony Parajanov’s legendary “The Color of Pomegranate” was screened at the “Moscow” cinema (the version restored by the Martin Scorsese World Film Foundation). The opening program included the official opening of the special photo exhibition dedicated to Parajanov’s life and arts (photographer Yuri Garmash) and was attended by Yuri Garmash, festival guests, participants, and admirers of Parajanov’s art.
