ecaHack Yerevan 2013 will take place in Yerevan on July 27. It's the Yerevan round of ecaHack held in 20 cities of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Hackathon aims to create innovative Android-based software and increase youth's interest to mobile solutions.
ecaHack Yerevan 2013 is organized by Google Developer Group Armenia, mLab ECA regional lab of mobile solutions and Enterprise Incubator Foundation.

Registration deadline is July 10 after which all the registered projects will be considered by the organizers and jury members and the best teams (overall 10 in number with three participants in each who will be able to take part in the Hackathon due to be held in Yerevan on July 27) will be picked up.
After July 10, consultation meetings will be organized with the selected participants in order to improve the presented software.
In the morning of July 27, the teams will gather in mLab ECA office where they will work on their projects within the 12 hours of the Hackathon presenting their works in the final variants at the end of the day.
During the Hackathon, the participants can create their software both from scratch or continue previous projects if they are not posted on any internet source. The participants should offer software which are useful and interesting across the globe.
At the end of ecaHack Yerevan, the participants will hold 5- minute demo-presentations of their projects and then the jury members will decide which team wins. The winner will take part in the final round due to be held in Bucharest in October and will be able to get prizes from Alcatel One Touch and other sponsors. They will also take part in Droidcon Bucharest event which is a pan-European conference of programmers working with Android system.
All the team members will get most up-to-date Android-based mobile phones from Alcatel One Touch and will be able to visit mLab ECA incubation office.
Google Mountain View associate Adam Mathias Bittlingmayer will be the special guest of the event who will make a speech on monetization of Android-based software in the mLab ECA office a day before the event. Not only the Hackathon participants but also all the interested persons can take part in this event.
Hackathon participants will be able to present their works to representatives of Ukrainian Happy Farm Business Incubator. If they are selected, they may be allocated up to USD75 000 investments to introduce the software in the international market.
