Orange introduced it's up to 42.2 Mbps download speed network Etchmiadzin

Today Orange Armenia CEO Mr. Francis Gelibter, on a visit in Etchmiadzin, presented the very high speed capabilities of the upgraded Orange 3G+ network to Etchmiadzin Mayor Mr. Karen Grigoryan.

Etchmiadzin is the fourth city in Armenia after Yerevan, Gyumri and Vanadzor where Orange introduced an HSPA network supporting up to 42Mbps speed, the company informs.

“Orange is the only mobile operator in Armenia which provides such advanced mobile technologies in the capital, and also in other cities. Armenia is one of the few countries of Orange footprint to implement the 3G+ 42Mb/s technology. Along with expanding our network in small villages, we do care about strengthening our presence and making even better the quality in larger cities, where there is a high demand for quality internet and we are intending to extend the 42.2Mp/s capabilities to other big towns .According to field tests conducted several months ago by PHP,an independent international firm, Orange is the leading operator in 3G data network speed and quality in Armenia. Our ambition is to really change for the better and to enrich our customers’ experience with high network and service quality”, noted Francis Gelibter, CEO of Orange Armenia.
