Andrei Pyatakhin has been appointed General Director of “ArmenTel”, which provides communication services in Armenia under Beeline trademark.
As the press service of “VimpelCom” informed Mediamax, Pyatakhin will assume his duties in June 2013.
Commenting on this appointment, Vice President of “VimpelCom” CIS Business Development Unit Dmitry Kromsky said: “During 12 years of his work in our company on various positions Andrei Pyatakhin has always had success. I believe that such a serious reinforcement of ArmenTel team will help the local business improve its positions.”

I will take every effort to bring the best practices to ArmenTel that I have accumulated during many years, introduce modern innovations and provide maximum attention to clients,” the newly appointed CEO of ArmenTel said.
Andrei Pyatakhin is 37 years old. He graduated from the Lipetsk State Technical University in 1997; in 2006 he defended his thesis and in 2007 received MBA Management degree at the American Business-Administration University.
He began his professional career in telecommunications in 1996 and joined “VimpelCom” in 2001 as the Commercial Director of Lipetsk branch. In 2005 he received the highest corporate award of “VimpelCom”- the “Diamond Bee”.
In 2009-2011 he was the head of Beeline in Georgia, and on 15 December 2011 he was appointed Vice President and Regional Director of the Moscow region.
