Nearly 39 mln calls were handled by VivaCell-MTS network on December 31 and January 1

VivaCell-MTS’ network handled 3 617 584 SMS messages on December 31, the New Years Eve before midnight, with a further 2 773 136 on January 1, 2013.

18 962 779 calls were handled through VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2012 before midnight, and another 19 889 200 on January 1, 2013.

In total 6 390 720 short messages and 38 851 979 calls were handled by VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2012 and January 1, 2013.

Compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of calls increased by nearly 4 %.
