Yerevan/Mediamax/. The level of mobile communication penetration in Armenia is the second largest in the CIS -132.6%.
\'\'Telecommunication Market in the CIS Countries: Key Indices of Development\'\' presentation made by an analyst of ComNewsResearch research and consulting agency Marina Korobkova today reads this, Mediamax reports.
Russia is the first in the CIS where the penetration makes 160.2%.
According to the presentation, Armenia registered the most negative dynamics of incomes of mobile communication services in the CIS over 2008-2011 – overall incomes of the Armenian mobile operators reduced by 47.6 %over 4 years having made USD 140mln in 2011.
The report notes that the average revenue per user (ARPU) reduced in all the CIS countries in 2008-201. The index decreased by 14% in Armenia over 2 years having made USD 6 in 2010. Georgia registered the highest index of ARPU (USD 11.14) and Uzbekistan – the lowest (USD 3.97).
MoU index (minutes of use on average per user) increased by 21.9% in Armenia in 2008-2010 having made 265.9 minutes. Azerbaijan registered the lowest index of MoU in the CIS (97minutes) and Ukraine - the highest (452minutes). The index makes 118.3minutes in Georgia and 248.3 – in Russia as of 2010.
APPM index (average price per minute of talk) reduced by 30% in Armenia in 2008-2010 having made USD 0.03. The index in Georgia and Azerbaijan is higher than in Armenia making USD 0.09 and USD 0.1 respectively.
VAS share in the overall revenue of voice mobile services in the countries of South Caucasus is almost equal and makes 10% on average as of the first half year of 2011. The same index makes 21% in Russia.
Marina Korobkova made her presentation within \'\'VimpelCom\'\' annual conference for journalists and bloggers of CIS countries and Georgia organized by ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) this year. The conference hosts over 30 media representatives of Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
