Yerevan/Mediamax/.ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) announced the start of the long-term cooperation with the “Elenar” Russian-Armenian Center for Distance Technologies which is an Armenian center for access to information resources of the Moscow Modern Academy of Humanities today.
ArmenTel will give a technical assistance to the organization process of the distance learning courses and will help optimize the process of teaching educational materials and programs, the company reported.
The Center for Distance Technologies gives Armenian students a unique opportunity to get education not leaving their place of residence. Moscow Modern Academy of Humanities was set up in 1992 and trained over 240 thousand specialists by early 2010. The Armenian branch of the Academy was founded in 1995.
The access points of “Elenar” center operate in Yerevan, Gyumri, Kapan, Tashir, Chambarak and Ijevan. Preparatory works are realized to open a branch in Stepanavan.
“Assistance to the Center for Distance Technologies is another project implemented within our social program. We will keep moving forward in accord with the set path and we’ll support technical equipment of a number of schools in the country’s regions till the end of 2011”, noted ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko.
