Yerevan/Mediamax/. Net operating profit of “ArmenTel” (Beeline brand) in the III quarter of 2011 grew by 5% as compared to the same period of last year, making AMD 18 billion and 664 million ($51mln).
As Mediamax reports quoting the operating and financial results of “VimpelCom Ltd.”, “ArmenTel’s” net operating profit from mobile business in the III quarter of 2011 grew by 4,76% as compared to the same period of last year, making $22mln, and the profit from fixed business grew by 3.58%, making $29mln.
Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) of “ArmenTel” in the III quarter of 2011 made AMD 7bln and 538mln, having reduced by 9% against the same period of 2010. The number of subscriber agreements in the mobile segment of “ArmenTel” grew by 31% against the III quarter of 2010, making 761 thousand (as of 31 September 2011), and the number of broadband internet users has grown almost twice during the accounting period, making 115 thousand.
Beeline’s Average Revenue per User (ARPU) from mobile communication in Armenia in the III quarter of 2011 made AMD 3281, having reduced by 21% against the same period of 2010.
MOU (Minutes of Use) reduced by 8% in the III quarter, making 264 minutes.
