ArmenTel subscribers to be able to call to Ombudsman’s Office free of charge

Yerevan/Mediamax/. ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) provided the Office of Armenia’s Human Rights’ Defender with 116 short number for receiving calls from citizens.

Realizing the importance of effective functioning of the institute of human rights protection, the company undertook all the expenses on installation and servicing of 116 short number. The calls made to the number by “ArmenTel” fixed and mobile network subscribers as well as termination from other mobile operators of Armenia are free of charge, the company’ press service reported.

“We hope that the extra free communication channel between the Ombudsman and the representatives of society will allow enhancing the effectiveness of human rights protection for the sake of Armenia’s future”, said ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko.
