“VivaCell-MTS” and “Synopsys Armenia” will assist education in the sphere of studying communication means microcircuits

“VivaCell-MTS”, “Synopsys Armenia” and “European Regional Educational Academy” (EREA) signed a cooperation agreement today, which aims at assisting education in the sphere of studying microelectronic circuits and systems in Armenia.

Mediamax reports that within the framework of cooperation and Chair of “Microelectronic Circuits and Systems” will be set up, which will provide Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees.

Due to investments of “VivaCell-MTS” at the volume of AMD 15mln, the auditorium, allocated by EREA, will be reestablished and “Synopsys Armenia” will provide 20 licenses free of charge for packages on automated electronic design.

Director of “Synopsys Armenia” Company Hovik Musaelyan noted that the new unprecedented specialty will take higher technologic education in the country to a higher improved level.

“Correct and targeted education plays an important role in the country’s development. We attach special importance to projects, which aim at creating high quality and competitive labor”, General Manager of “VivaCell-MTS” Ralph Yirikian said.
