Yerevan/Mediamax/. Net operating income of “ArmenTel” (Beeline trademark) in the first quarter, 2011, increased by 5.5%, as compared to the analogous period of 2010, making AMD 16bln 890mln (USD 45.04mln).
Mediamax reports referring the operational and financial results of “VimpelCom Ltd” that in the first quarter, 2011, net operating income of “ArmenTel” mobile business increased by 27.6%, as compared to the analogous period of 2010, making AMD 7bln 384mln, and the gains from landline business increased by 7.1%, making AMD 9bln 505mln.
Operating income of “ArmenTel” before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) in the first quarter of 2011 made AMD 5bln 742mln, having reduced by 21.9%, as compared to the same period of 2010.
Number of subscriber agreements in mobile segment of “ArmenTel” increased by 27.3%, as compared to the first quarter of 2010, making 699 thousands as of March 31, 2011, while the number of broadband internet subscribers increased by 170.5% (53.2 thousands) in the accounting period, making 84.4 thousands.
Average revenue per user per month (ARPU) in Beeline in Armenia made AMD 2893 in the first quarter, 2011, having reduced by 18.4%, as compared to the analogous period of 2010, (in USD expression, ARPU index reduced by 13.3%, making USD 7.8).
MOU index (minutes of use per subscriber per month) reduced by 31.3% in the first quarter and made 237.6 minutes.
