Virtual memorial complex of Armenian Genocide victims created

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Today, Memcosoft IT Company presented the virtual memorial complex dedicated to the memory of victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire.

Memcosoft Armenia Director Arman Boshyan said that the complex is the exact virtual copy of the Memorial Complex and Museum-Institute of Armenian Genocide and has been created in close cooperation with the latter, Mediamax reports.

Virtual tour around the complex is available at the official site of the Genocide Museum at www.genocide-museum.am and at Memcosoft’s site at http://www.memcosoft.com/genocidemuseum/.

3D virtual tour is also available with special glasses.

“Not all people can visit the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial, and we decided to create its virtual copy so that everyone can get acquainted with this tragic page of our history, visit the museum and lay flowers to the eternal flame,” Arman Boshyan said. He noted that the possibility of laying flowers makes this creation the first acting virtual memorial complex in the world.

Memcosoft Company has been elaborating the project voluntarily for 2 years.
