Opportunity to open IBM Research Center in Armenia to be discussed

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Meeting of IBM representatives with Armenian companies, functioning in the sphere of e-management, took place in Yerevan today.

IBM representatives were invited to Armenia at the initiative of “Enterprise Incubator” Foundation.

Director of the Foundation Bagrat Yengibaryan stated in an interview to Mediamax that the cooperation with IBM will stimulate IT sphere development in Armenia. He noted that the main goal of today’s meeting is to discuss the prospects of realizing large-scale programs in IT sphere in Armenia, prepare a memorandum and plan the visit of IBM leadership to Armenia.

“This is a great opportunity for Armenia. IBM is one of the world leaders of IT sphere, which makes large-scale investment in research. We hope to also discuss the opportunity to open an IBM Research Center in Armenia”, Bagrat Yengibaryan stated.
