Yerevan/Mediamax/. Opera Software Company plans to localize its browser in Armenia.
Mediamax reports that Opera Software Communication Manager in CIS Vladimir Isayev said this, speaking at “From Outsourcing to Innovation” conference in Yerevan on December 4.
He noted that 74% of mobile internet users in Armenia use Opera Mini. Concerning stationary computers, Opera browser in Armenia is installed in 11% of the computers, connected to internet.
Vladimir Isayev informed that Opera Software carries out negotiations on cooperation with one of the mobile operators in Armenia.
Head of RuTube Company Mikhail Ilyichev stated at the conference that they carry out negotiations with potential Armenian partners on traffic caching, and the representative of VKontakte.ru network Vladislav Tsiplukhin informed that the company intents to start more actively working in the Armenian market in order to attract users.
