Yerevan/Mediamax/. “VivaCell-MTS” proceeds in the third quarter, 2010, made 20.9bln AMD, having reduced by 5%, as compared to the analogous period last year.
Mediamax reports referring to the financial results of “MTS” OJSC for the III quarter, 2010, that, as compared to the second quarter, 2010, the proceeds of the operator increased by 8%.
Quarterly increase of the operator’s incomes in 2010 is conditioned by continuing seasonal dynamics. The proceeds of the telecommunication operator for three quarters, 2010, made 58blnA MD, which is 2% less, as compared to the analogous period last year.
Operating income of “VivaCell-MTS” before depreciation and amortization (OIBDA) made 11.5bln AMD in the third quarter, 2010, having increased by 12%, as compared to the previous quarter, but at that having reduced by 6%, as compared to the analogous period last year.
The average monthly revenue of “VivaCell-MTS” per user of mobile connection in Armenia (ARPU) made 3 194 AMD in the third quarter, having reduced by 10%, as compared to the analogous period in 2009. At that MOU index (number of minutes used by a subscriber per month) increased in the third quarter by 36.6%, as compared to the analogous period last year, and made 294 minutes.
