VivaCell-MTS getting ready for introduction of LTE network in Armenia

Yerevan/Mediamax/. VivaCell-MTS is getting ready for introduction of the fourth generation (4G) LTE network in Armenia.

Mediamax reports that General Manager of VivaCell-MTS Ralph Yirikian said this at a news conference today.

He refrained from announcing dates of 4G network launch, noting that now the company is carrying out preparatory works. “There are very few countries in the world, where there is 4G network, and Armenia will be one of them”, Ralph Yirikian stated.

Speaking of 3G network of VivaCell-MTS, he noted that now it is available in 650 settlements in Armenia and provides 92% coverage of the country’s territory.
