Yerevan/Mediamax/. National Center for Educational Technologies (NCET) of Armenia intends to have united all secondary schools of the republic into a single e-network by the end of 2011.
Mediamax reports that Director of the Center Areg Grigoryan said this today.
Today 624 schools are connected to the network. They not only have internet access, but also exchange various learning materials.
Areg Grigoryan informed that a mobile internet-computer station also operates. It visits villages and carries out classes, consisting of 12 courses, on computer science for schoolchildren and teachers.
As of today, 36 computers fall on the share of 1000 schoolchildren in Armenia.
Head of NCET also touched upon the issue of setting up an information system for education management, which will include all educational institutions of Armenia.
