“Ayb” Foundation presented the mirror site of MIT educational resource in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Ayb” Educational Foundation held a presentation of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) OpenCourseWare educational resource mirror website in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that the mirror website functions at http://ocw.mit.am.

The mirror website is connected to the internal network of Yerevan State University (2.500 computers) and ARENA network, which connects 32 Armenian higher educational institutions. This means that the users of these systems may use OpenCourseWare without connecting to internet, using the local network.

1900 educational programs on 40 subjects, including video-lectures, tasks, tests, etc, are available at OpenCourseWare. This educational resource is used by 1mln people per month.
