175 organizations function in IT sphere in Armenia

Yerevan /Mediamax/. 175 organizations, 56 of which representing branches of foreign companies, function in IT sphere in Armenia.

Mediamax reports that Director of “Enterprise Incubator Foundation” Bagrat Yengibaryan said this at a roundtable in the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Armenia, devoted to IT policy in Armenia, today.

Mediamax was informed in information-analytical center of NAS that Head of Information and High Technologies Department of the Armenian Ministry of Economy Vache Kirakosyan and Director of the Armenian representative office of Microsoft Grigor Barseghyan also delivered reports at the roundtable.

The roundtable takes place within the framework of the international “Computer Science and Information Technologies” conference (CSIT-2009).
