Orange Armenia to start provision of mobile connection services in September-November, 2009

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Orange Armenia Telecommunication Company will start provision of mobile connection services in October-November, 2009.

Minister of Transport and Communication of Armenia Gurgen Sargsian said this in an interview to Mediamax.

According to him, at present, the company prepares for building the network. “I am sure that the factual entry of the third operator to the Armenian market will have a positive influence both on the quality of connection and on the variety and the prices of services”, Minister stated.

Gurgen Sargsian expressed confidence that the start of Orange Armenia will begin exactly from provision of 3G services, which the two current operators already have. According to him, in Armenia there is the most modern equipment, which allows providing high quality mobile connection.
