Team Telecom Armenia builds a 500 Gb/s network

Armenia will soon have a new network with super-powerful bandwidth capacity. The construction works are already underway.

Hayk Yesayan, co-founder and General Director of Team Telecom Armenia, announced this on Twitter.

“TEAM will soon launch a channel in its DWDM transport network, the first in Armenia to use 500 Gb/s transponders. The equipment is already in Armenia. I would like to note that these transponders were first used by Facebook between Europe and America,” Yesayan said.
