July is the month of free workshops and seminars at Beeline Startup Incubator.
On July 24 the incubator hosted Jesus Lozano, the Spanish investor of Business Angel Network of Armenia (BANA) and co-founder of Business Angels Network of Madrid. Lozano held a demonstration lesson for startup founders. Via interactive games, he showed how to pitch business plans and impress potential investors. Lozano also recommended the entrepreneurs to focus on financial matters while pitching. In the second part of the lesson they tried to pitch ideas and received analysis of their errors from Lozano.
On July 25 the incubator will receive Diana Movsesyan and Gevorg Karapetyan from Schneider Group (Germany), who will provide a brief legal and tax review relevant for entrepreneurs who want to start a business in Armenia or the United States. They will also explain how Schneider Group can support startups and answer questions from the audience.
On July 26 the speaker will be Professor Emma Arakelyan of the New York University, who is going to tell the entrepreneurs how a startup team should target the global market. Prof. Arakelyan has around 25 years of experience in business management, IT planning and management. She has also published a book, The Business Caring Formula.
“We always attached importance to communication between our teams and active, experienced business people, especially if they have international experience. The knowledge they share is particularly helpful for our startups for succeeding in the global market, and that is precisely our goal. I am certain that in the future the incubator team will organize more meetings like these, which will be useful for our residents and the business sector in Armenia,” said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
