Rostelecom sums up another phase of Internet Alphabet program

Rostelecom has summed up another phase of Internet Alphabet program, implemented in cooperation with Ayb School and Wikimedia Armenia.

“I am certain that this program was organized at the right moment, because it was becoming a necessity. Internet Alphabet helps people of all ages to use modern technologies. I am also certain that without knowledge of modern technologies people might feel insecure on many occasions, and this program inspires confidence,” said teacher Gohar Petrosyan, a participant of the Internet Alphabet.

The computer literacy program is designed specifically for people aged 50 and older.

The participants passed tests at the end of the courses and received gifts and certificates. The video about the implementation of the program is published on Rostelecom's Facebook page.

“Internet Alphabet is a unique and at the same time, a very important program: it gives people aged 50 and the elderly people the opportunity to fill the gap of education by learning how to use computer and the internet resources, and to become an active and competitive member of the team at work. I congratulate all participants and wish them new achievements on behalf of our company,” said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.

Internet Alphabet is implemented since 2015.

The courses are taught in Armenian.
