VivaCell-MTS to incorporate 5G network in 2018

VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian announced that the company’s development strategy provides for the launch of 5G network.

Ralph Yirikian told this in an interview to Shant TV, commenting on the process of VivaCell-MTS network modernization.

“We have tried to keep up with the times from the very first day of our operation, and this network modernization is already the fourth in VivaCell-MTS history. Several months later, after the completion of the work, we will have the most modern network in Armenia. We are currently laying the foundation for building the network of new generation. We won’t have the 5G network in 2019, but our strategy provides for incorporation of similar network in 2020,” Ralph Yirikian said.
