Smart crib developed in Armenia

Cribby is the first smart baby crib, developed in Armenia, which was introduced to the public on December 14.

The founder of the startup Sergey Navasardyan told Itel.am that their target consumers are all the parents wishing to make their daily life a little bit easier.

The additional technological capabilities include: plugged-in camera, loudspeakers, area lighting, weighing scale, airflow sensor, collection of lullabies from various nations. The parents will be able to use the camera for taking pictures or recording videos of their child while they are away or follow the kid at any moment.

Cribby has intensively been developed over the last 2-3 months. The team of 8 involves designers and programmers.

Technical Leader of the startup Ashot Gasparyan informed that in a year they will introduce the final version of the crib to the market.

“Nowadays there are cribs with lullabies and songs, but there is no all-in-one version, which would have voice censors, movement censor, camera and information, elaborated in the clouds and archived in your phone. Those functions tend to permanently develop,” he said.

The author of the idea is Gor Shahbazyan. After becoming a father he understood that child care requires additional tech functions, which will help facilitate our life, so he created Cribby.

According to Gor Shahbazyan, the production is planned to start from the middle of 2018.

“Further you will be able to see how your child is growing up via video camera and not only. All the information including pictures will be saved in the clouds.”
