Beeline Armenia, Armenpress news agency, and Technological Development Center Fund announced the launch of history.armenpress.am in the framework of the Armenpress: History Project.
The project objective is to digitize around 10,000 photos in the agency’s archive and create website for Armenpress: History.
“Respect and care for own history is a sign of a developed society, and creation of this website is a direct contribution to the history of Armenia. Digitized photo archive is an important gain in this age of information. Beeline is proud to be a part of the process, as studying the past is one of the main preconditions of building a better future,” said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
